Survey of VET Teaching Experiences – have your say

Survey of VET Teaching Experiences – have your say

NCVER is currently researching how teachers/trainers identify and address student support needs and how that impacts their own teaching and wellbeing. Literacy and numeracy teachers have a lot of valuable experience in this area and much to contribute to the survey.

Broadly, the survey seeks to explore:

  • What student behaviours, attitudes and circumstances VET teachers observe that impact their teaching and student learning.
  • How student behaviours impact teachers’ wellbeing and ability to teach.
  • What professional development has been, or would be, helpful for teachers to better support their students.

The survey takes no longer than 15 minutes to complete and responses are not linked to individual training providers.

The survey can be accessed here:

Please note that participants or organisations will not be personally identified in the reporting of the research findings. A project information sheet/privacy collection notice is available, which explains how NCVER will use and protect the information collected through this research.

This research is being undertaken on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Further information on the project can be found on NCVER’s Portal
