30 Jul SEE redesign takes off
The Hotline is busy adding the educational contacts for the new Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) providers to our database.
The Australian Government announced the successful providers for its flagship SEE program for literacy and numeracy in late June. Starting from 1 July, the re-designed SEE program expanded eligibility to all Australians who are over the age of 15. Participants no longer need to be a registered job seeker.
Employees of organisations may now benefit from workplace-based literacy programs under the new SEE funding arrangements, and following the end of the Foundation Skills For Your Future (FSFYF) program. The Hotline will continue to play a key role in supporting workplace literacy programs by providing organisations with the details of SEE Providers and qualified local teachers, trainers and assessors listed in our national database.
