The mid north coast of NSW has been the Hotline’s focus for a range of awareness-building and promotional activities in recent months, and was selected because it has relatively good adult LLN provision. The Hotline reached out to community centres, churches, libraries, clubs, service organisations and local media, as well as local MPs, to develop broader awareness of the adult LLN provision in the region and to encourage people to connect with it. Unfortunately, the tragic bushfire events have overtaken the plan, but we hope to return to this initiative in future and wish the community all the best in rebuilding.
