The Hotline is excited to be attending the upcoming Victorian Adult Literacy and Basic Education Council (VALBEC) conference in Melbourne on Friday 15 May. We will be sharing our latest research on ways to engage potential literacy learners in an interactive and practical workshop. We look forward to meeting many of you at the conference and hearing your stories, ideas and practical strategies.
The conference is an opportunity to hear about some of the amazing programs and developments in the Victorian adult education sector. Highlights include Welcome to Country, an opening address by John Maddock AM, who is the acting ACFE Chair, a keynote by Jo Medlin, ACAL President and a strong focus on practical strategies, tools and activities participants can use immediately.
