22 Jun Innovative ACE scholarship opportunities for Learn Locals in Victoria
The Victorian Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions is offering scholarships to prospective, new and existing Learn Local teachers and practitioners to gain adult language, literacy and numeracy qualifications. These scholarships are available now for approved courses of up to $20,000.
The scholarship program covers a range of qualifications from short micro-credentials to a Graduate Diploma of Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy from Charles Sturt University. As well, there are limited opportunities for applicants to receive scholarship support for adult LLN/foundation skills qualifications that are not on the approved qualifications list.
For information on the scholarship program see the ACE Scholarship Program Guidelines. There are a limited number of scholarships available so early application is recommended, as places are limited.
The scholarship program is an important initiative from the Victorian Government and is a significant strategy to address the lack of specialist literacy and numeracy teachers across all sectors.
