Exciting opportunity for local and remote adult Aboriginal learners

Wuyagiba Bush Uni is a higher education program designed by local Elders in partnership with Macquarie University.  We were excited to learn about this opportunity for adult Aboriginal learners to improve their reading, writing and digital skills through this two-way pathway program, steeped in cultural learning.

Learners live on Country in south east Arnhem Land for one or both 10-week programs.  While it focuses on local students, the program’s open to remote-living Aboriginal adults from anywhere, with travel, food and basic accommodation included. Check out Wuyagiba Bush Uni’s Facebook or website https://www.wuyagibastudyhub.org  to enquire. The first course starts in June.
