In great news for the sector, the Certificates in General Education for Adults (CGEA) have been successfully reaccredited. These important courses provide teachers with qualifications which focus on the development and application of literacy and numeracy skills in real contexts and for real purposes and needs. Congratulations to the CGEA project team.
The reaccredited CGEA has five courses. They consist of a ‘Course in’ and four AQF level qualifications designed to improve the literacy, numeracy and general education skills of adults.
You can find the new CGEA on the Victorian Government accredited courses website here or on the National Training Register Training.gov.au when the courses become current.
