VALBEC’s inspiring and well-attended conference was held in May in Melbourne and included a range of engaging and insightful presenters.
An updated numeracy resource was also launched at the event. Building Strength with Numeracy contains practical, tested resources for teachers to use in a range of settings and is freely accessible online on the VALBEC website. Each section of each topic is a PDF allowing immediate downloading, printing and use by teachers and students. The first six topics are provided as a free download for all numeracy practitioners.
