We also congratulate ACAL on their 50th anniversary and Lorraine Sushames on recently becoming an honorary life member of ACAL.
This issue has a special focus on the work of the Councils of Adult Literacy (CALs) across Australia who give hours of unpaid labour and expertise to advocate for adult literacy and numeracy. They also generously share their professional skills in workshops, webinars and conferences, and help bring our community together.
