Are you in South Australia? Why not check out SACAL?

The South Australian Council for Adult Literacy Inc (SACAL) is a voluntary, non-profit organisation that promotes and supports literacy, numeracy and digital skill development across South Australia. SACAL acts as an advocacy body for adult learners, connecting practitioners, TAFE SA, Adult and Community Education (ACE) providers, community groups, and industry.

Other important areas of focus are organising conferences, professional development workshops, and networking events for literacy, numeracy, and digital skills practitioners and researchers. SACAL advocates for students with literacy and numeracy needs with government bodies and other stakeholders and maintain representation on the Australian Council for Adult Literacy (ACAL).

If you are interested in joining SACAL and being part of a wonderful group of literacy, numeracy and digital educators contact Sue James on [email protected].
