Celebrate Adult Learners Week!

Celebrate Adult Learners Week!

Check out the wonderful program of events nationally and locally being held from 1-8 September to celebrate 30 years of Adult Learners Week.

You can: 1) register to attend the launch with a great program of speakers including the 2025 ALW learner  ambassadors  online or in person, 2) share the ALA celebratory video to spread the word and 3) Join the special ALW webinar with three generations of the Clark family “as they share their learning journey at Mungo National Park: a place of deep time, living culture, and enduring connection” at 1pm,  (AEST) Wednesday 3 September. “It will be an inspiring discovery of how culture, storytelling, and kinship continue to shape the way we learn and understand the world today”.

Adult Learners Week is a UNESCO initiative, supported in Australia by the Commonwealth Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) and coordinated by Adult Learning Australia (ALA) which is also celebrating its 65th Anniversary in 2025. ALA welcome any 65th anniversary messages from adult learning supporters to help us celebrate this milestone year. Messages to Sophie: [email protected] will be shared here.
