Last December, the Australian Bureau of Statistics released a separate occupational code specifically for adult literacy and numeracy teachers. A re-release of the OSCA classification will take place on 28 July 2025. The re-release will clarify the Adult Literacy/Numeracy Teacher occupational code by removing the exclusion clause about people working in VET and TAFE.
