Passionate advocates for improving readability

The Reading Writing Hotline manager Vanessa Iles and the ACAL president Jo Medlin presented to over 250 Australian government digital professionals across Australia in March. The webinar focussed on key issues around readability, accessibility and forms, both paper and digitally based. Participants were actively engaged with insightful questions and comments on improving accessibility of government information.

The webinar also provided an opportunity to promote the work of the Hotline and issues around adult literacy, numeracy and digital literacy in Australia.

We at the Hotline were also touched that so many participants expressed their appreciation for the work that the Hotline and ACAL do, and the fond recognition of the Hotline brand and jingle.
