VDC’s VET National Teaching & Learning Conference is back in-person at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on 15 & 16 August 2024. This year’s Conference theme is ‘From Competence to Excellence – Strive to Inspire’. Over 2-days there will be a variety of professional learning opportunities with a focus on VET practitioners, as well as a stream of sessions featuring VET applied research for other VET Sector professionals. AVETRA Conference The 2024 annual conference for the Australian VET Research Association (AVETRA) will be held 3-4 October in Sydney at the Aerial Centre, University of Technology, Sydney. The conference theme is “Impetus and Impact: Research that Challenges and Shapes VET Policy and Practice”. For more information go to the AVETRA website.
CCA Annual Conference returns to Sydney on October 21-23. Registrations are now open for the 2024 CCA Annual Conference. This year’s theme is “Creative Resilience: Adapting and thriving in an uncertain world”. There will be a range of important discussions, presentations and workshops about navigating through this unique time. NSWALNC Annual Conference 13 December 2024
The New South Wales Adult Literacy and Numeracy Council annual in-person conference will be held on Friday 13 December this year at the University of Technology, Sydney. The theme is Creating authentic materials and activities in the age of AI. Always a great event with international and local speakers that deepen our understanding and inspire our practice. Australian Council of Deans of Education Vocational Education Group (ACDEVEG) 2024 Annual Conference: ‘Making a Difference: Elevating the Role of VET Teachers’
Date: December 9th (afternoon only)-10th 2024
Venue: Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane City
The Australian Council of Deans of Education Vocational Education Group will be hosting its annual conference on VET teaching and VET teacher-education on Monday December 9th (provisionally from 2pm-5pm) and Tuesday December 10th, from 9am-4pm (AEST). A call for abstracts has just been issued.
